Baby Storytime – Ages Birth – 18 months
Community Meeting Room Join us for stories, songs,
rhymes and more! Caregivers will learn a variety of songs, fingerplays,
bounces and more to help develop early literacy skills. Dec. 4th, 11th &
18th, 10am,

Time for Tots Storytime – Ages Birth – 36 months
Meeting Room This program promotes early literacy through stories, play,
movement, music, and rhymes. We begin with 30 minutes of open play.
Dec. 13th, 20th & 27th, 10:30am.

Family Storytime – All Ages –
Activity Room Join us for holiday
stories and a fun craft. Dec. 23rd & 30th,11:15am.

Holiday Elf LEGOs 
Ages 5-12 (younger with adult supervision) – Activity Room Gather for
some LEGO fun in the Activity Room. Children create masterpieces with
materials we furnish! Please do not bring LEGOs from home. Dec. 22nd,

Techwise Tuesdays - Dec. 3rd, 10th, & 17th.
10am-12pm, Comm. Mtg Rm. Drop in with your mobile devices or laptops
for hands-on help with downloading library eBooks, audiobooks, movies,
and music. Learn computer basics; try new software or internet applications;
sign up for Microsoft IT Academy, Lynda; and ask our experts any
other tech questions.

LIBRARY BOOK CLUB: The Library Book Club does not meet in December.

​Join our Teen Writing Group for high school students. A professional writer leads this group of aspiring authors.
Each session there is a new writing prompt and participants have the chance to share their creative writing with the group.

This workshop is open to crafters of any skill level!
Local bead instructor Trish Wilson will teach you to make a multi-wrap memory wire bracelet.
All materials will be provided in a variety of colors for this easy and fun project.

Call For Artists
Friends of the Anacortes Library Art Committee is Calling for Artists for an exhibit in the Community Room of the Anacortes Public Library.  Artists residing in the 98221 zip code may submit digital photos of their two dimensional art for consideration by December 5, 2019. 

The exhibit will be January through March, 2020.
An Artists’ Reception will be in the Community Room
on Sunday, January 4, 2020, from 1:00-2:30pm.

The public will be invited to meet the artists and to view their work.
